Wow, this is it! My last blog post of the year! I can’t believe this school year is coming to end and I am graduating next week! It just feels like yesterday I walked into the classroom and soon I will be leaving it forever. I honestly will miss this class. Was it challenging? Yes. Did I sometimes think it was too much? Absolutely. But in the end, I have really valued my time in the Independent Study & Mentorship Program. All I have left to do is record my presentation and that's it . . . I’m done. I’m kind of nervous about the thought of others watching my presentation but I’m excited to watch my fellow classmates' presentations and see how ISM has been for them this year! I've met so many people and have made many friends this year and I will never forget. I really hope I get to keep in contact with Mr. Pirtle, my mentor Dr. Stokes, and the friends I have made throughout the year. Well, this is it. I’m signing off for the last time. If you are an aspiring or current ISM student, I leave you with this advice: work towards your dreams, do something that makes you happy, be the person you want to become, and most importantly . . . don't procrastinate!
