Climbing the Hill of Improvement

During Thanksgiving break, not much had happened. I had made a few calls, but most led to dead ends. I also briefly started to brainstorm ideas for my poster board for Winter Showcase. In the past, Winter Showcase was an event for ISM students where they display all that they have learned throughout the semester. I have heard from peers that it is such a fun event, but with the COVID situation, I am unsure about how the event will work this year. The week leading up to the break I did make progress with a potential interview. When making a call, the receptionist remembered me and was able to give me an email to set up an interview. I haven’t had any contact since, but I am hoping someone will get back to me at some point this week, if not I will make the effort to call. I am also planning to get in touch with another pediatrician in the area. Hopefully, they will get back to me soon as I would love to conduct at least one interview this week and have a mentor before winter break.
