We finally made it . . . Business Symposium. It was a thrilling and eye-opening experience. I left school early to come home and quickly change into my professional outfit. I jumped on the Zoom call five minutes early, which my teacher suggested and I was put into a breakout room with my first mentor. He was a very kind older man who is a pilot. I’m very glad he was my first interviewer. He made the interview so easy and less nerve-racking as if we were having a conversation. My next interviewer was a computer analyst I believe. Although he wasn't as easy to talk to as the first interviewer, he still gave me great feedback on my interview skills. My final interviewer was a school official in my district. She was very funny and had a charismatic personality. The interview went very well in my opinion but was cut short. Due to some network issues, another fellow student joined my interview resulting in mine being cut short. I of course didn't mind, some things can't be controlled. I overall really enjoyed my experience at Business Symposium. Although this was not ideally how it would have been done in recent years, I am still thankful for the things I learned and the experience I had.
