It’s A Start

I’ve made my first few contacts. Yeah! That's one step for me, one giant leap for ISM students everywhere. Most of my contacts have been through email. Something about a contact through the message takes the anxiety off my chest. I know it's not the best and most effective so I pushed to make my first few calls. Most of them were in close proximity to me such as Dr. Emily Barker and Dr. Lilyan Blatt, both pediatricians at Kid Approved Pediatrics. Unfortunately, they were busy at the time I called so I had to leave a message with their receptionist. On the bright side, it gave me more practice leaving a message with a receptionist. I have also started brainstorming ideas for my Quick Trip speech. At first, I wanted to talk about the beautiful country of Ghana or an Irish folktale on wolfwalkers, but then I decided I want to share the magical world of a show I love . . . the world of Xadia in the Netflix original series The Dragon Prince. I’m so excited to share this amazing show with my fellow classmates and teacher.
