Recently, my teacher, Mr. Pirtle has been reviewing how to be professional during interviews. So far I have learned to dress professionally, put my phone on silent, ask questions, and much more. All key aspects of a great interview. Since I have been doing journalism for almost three years now, I'm not new to the whole interviewing process, so I have a great deal of confidence in myself and my interviewing capabilities, but that will not stop me from preparing myself in every way possible. Next class, I hope to get feedback from my peers in order to critique certain aspects of myself so that I am ready. I haven't really faced any challenges yet, other than the fact I'm anxious to find out what my interviewing process is viewed from others, but in the end, this will be beneficial for me. This week I was successful because I was able to turn in my topic proposal a day early, which took some pressure off my shoulders. All I need to do now is find time to sit down with my teacher, so he may help me critique my resume before the Business Symposium.
